Advanced multi-function process control training system SMPT-1000 is a versatile process and control loop simulation device, which can meet the complex process-level control of the object and design of strategies and methods of implementation requirements. However, in practical application because of PLC, DCS and other controller with the I/O module channel number of less direct impact on the organizational complexity of the feasibility of control experiments.To solve this problem, this paper based on Profibus--RS485 communication protocol connection to complete the hardware selection and testing. Automated communications software based on VS2005 platform. Use object-oriented programming language C++language, software development process conducted strictly in accordance with UML modeling.Then use the basis of the communication to SMPT-1000 process included heating unit for the controlled object, the outlet temperature of the thermal control materials. Design the overall control and security solutions, using single neuron PID controller as the furnace outlet temperature cascade control system of the main circuit controller, application CFC, SFC and the SCL language programming. Using WINCC configuration software to make the configuration screen monitor.The experimental results show that the communication connection to solve the SMPT-1000 and all supporting Profibus Slave Communication of PLC/DCS communication between the connection problem. The use of new means of communication designed to achieve the maximum 64 points AI, AO 64 points. Can meet the highly complex process simulation design requirements. Meanwhile, the overall design for the heater control program behave good, basic control system used in the single neuron PID control performance is excellent, to the furnace outlet temperature for rapid response and control. Safety-related systems in normal operation, to correct the fault response, improved workplace safety.
