To relieve the growing tension in the Earth's energy crisis, people turn attentions to solar energy, with the method of combining fiber optics and solar energy for indoor lighting, for maximize energy savings, In this paper,we selected the lmm diameter fiber as the base tube, plating metallic silver film and dielectric film on the inner wall, through the solar collector coupled into the Ag/PMMA hollow fiber, testing its loss and decay rate. Finally we evaluated its preparation and transmission performance.The solar energy collector primarily collected 380-1500nm range of light, according to the principles of the parabolic mirror focused the incident solar energy, gathering a parallel light source into hollow fiber, For optimizing the assemble of fiber and the collector, decreasing the beam diameter error, we measured the time range of 12:00 to 2:00 section of solar density change to evaluate the stability of devices.Ag/PMMA leakage of hollow fiber transmission using total internal reflection of sunlight, the silver film's reflectance as high as 90% in the 380-1500nm, we choose PMMA transparent dielectric layer to protect the silver film surface. the Ag/PMMA hollow fiber were characterized by SEM,FESEM,testing film surface roughness and thickness, through the visible-near infrared reflectance spectrophotometer and a multi-functional Tester to test fiber loss hollow fiber loss and decay rate, the experimental results are obtained as follows:1,The theory refractive and thickness of PMMA dielectric layer was (?) and 74nm,the silver film's thickness was 0.2μm2,the concentration of silver ammonia and reduction solution were O.lmol/L, 0.025mol/L, reaction temperature,time and the flow rate were 18℃,2min,2.5ml/min. Selected the weight ratio of acetone solution prepared 0.25% PMMA dielectric layer, the flow rate and reaction time were 2.5ml/min,30s, the thickness was 70nm.3,Solar collector for the optical density change 0.04mW/cm2/min between 12:00 to 2:00,1:00 can be used as test time.4,From Ag and Ag/PMMA hollow fiber structure comparison, PMMA dielectric film can reduce the decay rate, the latter decay rate is about 0.05mw/cm2/day, it owned great efficiency for production and daily life.
