The stochastic signals exist in many fields such as industrial control, navigation, communication and so on. They are significant for us to know the operation state of system. However, due to various reasons, either these signals include noise inevitably or they can't be measured directly. On the other hand, although some complicated industry process for the control systems and control object can be described by linear of math model, some unknown elements always exist in practice control systems, the emergence and the development of the robust control theory were just in such environment.This thesis studies robust control and filtering for linear uncertain systems, which was the robust synthesis. It gives the sufficient condition of delay-dependent and delay-independ-ent states feedback robust stabilization controller for linear uncertain systerms, mainly based on Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality. The uncertain systems satisfies boundary of normal number. It was easy to come out the solution of controller using the LMI toolbox in Matlab, The example tests the designed controller eliminates or reduces the effect of the modeling error in system and the disturbed signal from the system and outside. Especially, the thesis considers the H∞control problem for uncertain linear time-delay systems. The desiged controller can guaranteed that the closed loop systerms is asymptotically stable and ideal H∞performance level. By adding zero term, there is less conservative in the results. Furthermore, considering the H∞performance, robust H∞filtering algorithm based on LMI and a method of designing robust H∞filter and robust Kalman filter are studied. The robust filtering was simulated under the numerical example. compared with the two methods,robust H∞filter is better. finally the paper studies the application of robust L1/H∞multi-object controller.in the vehicle active suspension system.
