A software for analysising transport properties of organic semiconductor devices has been designed based on visual Basic and Fortran cooperate programming in the Paper. Visual Basic and Fortran cooperate programming combines the Advantageous interpersonal interface of VB and Fortran being expert in numerical computation.VB is used to complete interactive interface for users, while the core module for computing is written by a Fortran dynamic-link library. Subroutines and functions in the Dynamic Link Library are based on a variety of sophisticated theoretical model, such as carrier transport process in the organic layer, mobility model and the trap model, etc. These models generally are second-order differential equations, and analytical solution can not be given out, it requires the application of numerical methods for solving these models. Common numerical methods for solving the equations include finite difference method, finite element method, Monte Carlo method and shooting method, and these numerical methods are briefly introduced in the paper.The realization method for VB and Fortran cooperate programming has been described in detail, and then design analysis software for transport properties of organic semiconductor two terminal device. The software includes three parts:(1) Numeric analysis for theory models of the device. the transport properties of a single layer or multi-layers organic semiconductor device can be analysised with selected model and parameters. (2) Numerical fitting for single layer device J-V character. relevant parameters in some model can be exported by fitting the experimental J-V curve and the numerical solutions. (3) In order to facilitate the query, the Database of oraganic semiconductor material parameters is been created. These information were collected documents from literature. Database can be used to associated with the corresponding interface control to facilitate to select or query the materials and parameters in Numercal Fitting window and carriers transport characteristic analysis window, as well as query or management of material information. in a separate window.
