The research of shielding effectiveness(SE) on the metallic rectangular enclosureis now a popular topic in the area of eletromagnetic compatibility, which has importanttheoretical significance and engineering application value.Based on the waveguide equivalent circuit model of the rectangular enclosurewith circular hole-array, the effect of hole spacing, hole number, hole array size on theSE of enclosure is analysed, the cases of the circular array, a square inside thecircular hole-array, with a round-cut square holes outside the array are also considered,then the result is given with the software of matlab. Besides, for those metallicencloure with a printed circuit board inside, with the software of FLO/EMC, the effectof the number, thickness and location of PCB on the SE is analysed, the cases of theirregular hole-arrays are also discussed.The results have some advice on the SE design of the metallic rectangularenclosure with hole-array and PCB loaded.
