The integration of mobile network and Internet enabled people to access to Internet by mobile station equipment whenever and wherever. Because mobile network was insecure, the application of high security service were short on mobile terminal equipment. The main reason of this situation was insecurity of mobile network. The threat of security of wireless network was much more serious than wired network, because wireless channel was more open than cable channel. Therefore, the current research point is how to make sure the security of information that flowed through the wireless network and wired network. So that people can access Internet safely by mobile station equipment at any place and at any time.With the help of computer cryptography, TCP/IP communication can be safe. VPN was one way of establishing safe communication based on public network facilities. Mobile telework safety was a new application fields of VPN techonology. Using VPN techonology on smartphone can not only solve the safety problem of mobile wireless network, but also connect to Internet safely whenever and wherever. This software have the standard function of IPSec VPN that can safely connect most VPN gateway such as CISCO VPN router. There were famous softwares like The GreenBow IPSec in foreign countries while the VPN software at home were only limited to person computer. This thesis for the first time designed and implemented IPSec VPN software which ran on Windows Mobile smartphone.In order to test this software by simulating actual environment, we configured CISCO router as a VPN gateway, and also constructed a remote LAN. After the safety tunnel was established between smartphone and VPN gateway by CDMA wireless internet, it can normally download resources of remote host. And we also tested performance of smartphone affecting by different kinds of encryption algorithms.The research output of this thesis has been applied to practices.
