The story of prisoner's difficult position told us that competition and cooperation are the two sides of a coin. This coin is called Game Theory; it has been used in the research on competition and cooperation of the media's ecology between Guangdong and Hong Kong, which is a heated research in the academe recently. However, the related achievements are focused on the aspect based on historical observation of rereading the text. This thesis is based on the game theory model of competition and cooperation and the research method of media's ecology, broadcasting, and multi-cultural spreading etc. It combines the traditional text research method, using the game theory research of competition and cooperation between the media of Guangdong and Hong Kong as an overall thread, which has been put into the history and ecology to survey and read, at the purpose of discovering how to realize the strategic goal of cooperating in the game, winning in the cooperation under the fact of the constant deepening and innovation of the media's ecology for the two sides of the game theory, the media of Guangdong and Hong Kong.In detail, this thesis is based on solid materials and advanced data analysis. It takes the game theory research of competition and cooperation between the media of Guangdong and Hong Kong as a cutting point from the perspective of the research on media's game theory. It takes the model based on game theory of competition and cooperation and related theory as major theoretic support. Firstly, it introduces the innovation of the situation of game theory and analyses the clash environment of the media of Guangdong and Hong Kong. Secondly, it utilize the thread of game theory from the same or different origin to compare the actual difference of the media's ecology of Guangdong and Hong Kong in order to explain the reason of clash environment of multi-game theory. Thirdly, it uses the Hong Kong TV broadcasting over boundary and the intangible competition between South brand rising and Hong Kong as major cases, and it analyses the macro and micro cross like the game theory between the media of Guangdong and Hong Kong. At the same time, it analyses the self-adjusting in the game theory of the two major pattern's core competition. Finally, in the transiting period of the complex media's ecology, it cleans the barriers in the process of approaching the win-win game theory between the media of Guangdong and Hong Kong through survey and consideration, based on which it concludes the possible option and attempt. It tries to concentrate the district competition by sharing the resource, facility conformity and the price connected cooperation in order to participate in the competition of even larger scale. Through the research above, this thesis puts out that the structural competition and systematic cooperation are the inevitable option for the media of Guangdong and Hong Kong to approach a mutual achievement, hoping that it will be an inspiration for the entire development of the Chinese media industry.
