Research On Application Of Agent Technology In Personalized Services For Information Platform

Nowadays, we are in the Age of information. With the development of the internet, there are more and more varieties and amounts of information are available to users of Information Platform. What confuses users is no longer lack of information but how to obtain the information which they need efficiently without the interference of useless information. And this is also the development tendency of personalized services for Information Platform.This paper introduces the current stage of personalized services in detail, analyzes Agent technology in detail, builds model of personalized services for information platform based on Agent. The model consists of four Agents which are severally liabilities of building users'profile, collecting information, pushing information and interacting with users. These four Agents are independent and cooperative. The research of this paper focuses on building models of user profile and information filter. In order to verify the models, this paper designs and achieves a case of personalized services for Basic Information Platform of Beijing Urban Track Traffic.The value of this paper is that it applies Agent technology into personalized services for information platform to help users in obtaining useful information efficiently and the system offers users initiative service according to users'setting and preference at the proper time to raise the utilization rate of information and the degree of satisfaction of users.
