In modern greenhouse cultivation technology, temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration and light is the four most important elements. In modern technology of Greenhouse cultivation, the four constraints relations can constitute a disciplinary system, and the truck farmer needs to master the delicate relationship between the four to make vegetable yield. Although China is now an unprecedented large-scale greenhouse production, but the equipment of greenhouses is lagging, and temperature acquisition is more backward. The truck farmers and kerosene thermometer are widely used to make a temperature collecting. This kind of temperature collecting is time-consuming and old-fashioned. This kind of old fashion is not appropriate to the expansion of production scale and the improvement of informationization. Also it does not meet the CPC Central Committee's strategic in putting forward the objectives of agriculture science and technology. Humidity and carbon dioxide concentrations in the acquisition and control, is also difficult to achieve the optimal allocation of resources. There is not humidity collection module in greenhouses in many rural areas; the detection of carbon dioxide concentration is also relatively simple. This kind of situation does not make for the information collecting, integrated monitoring and management of high level system. It is to some extent affected the production of greenhouse vegetables. More seriously, humidity and carbon dioxide environment affects the health of vegetable farmers, making vegetable farmers muscles and joints into lesions, severe cases may even lose the ability to work. So it is urgent need for a set of intelligent monitoring system in greenhouses, in temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentrations collecting and in effective monitoring management.The intelligent monitoring system of vegetables greenhouse, by investigating the greenhouse of rural areas, combined with the productivity of rural conditions and the economic development, make a requirement analysis and system design to the intelligent monitoring system of vegetables greenhouse. Given the limited economic conditions in rural areas, the system's principles is more pragmatic, convenient. Its business logic is more defined and the functions achievement is more integrated. From the bottom hardware to the top software, using S3C2440 Development Board and the STC89C51 Single Chip Microcomputer by expansion and cascade, the project built a system in collecting of temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide concentration. Each STC89C51 SCM integrates the temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide sensors for detecting various parameters and data of greenhouses. By using the features of concise and flexible of STC89C51, the system realized the digitron's display of above data on the STC89C51. The system not only meets the demand for vegetable farmers, but save the cost of equipment. The upper computer installed in the popular Windows CE operating system, using the current popular. NET technology framework to develop a graphical interface based on dialog window to make the screen display more friendly and popular. The requirement analysis investigate the global service of greenhouse intelligent monitoring ,using UML modeling of use case diagram, sequence diagram, activity diagram and class diagram, explain the requirement of vegetable farmers and the problems that to be solved.
