Smart Home Video Monitoring System Based On Arm

With the progress of technology and the raise of material and cultural life at the present stage, people also increase their knowledge and demand on the area of smart home security, video monitoring has been applied in people's daily life and work as a mature technology. Aiming at enhancing smart home security, this paper introduces a kind of design and realization scheme on smart home video monitoring system. Combining the actual situation of smart home video monitoring, it choose embedded system which occupied little resouces to realize the purpose of smart home video monitoring, after analysis the performance of various embedded processor and embedded operating system, given the scheme that transplant slimming Linux operating system and applications on ARM9 nuclear.According to the specific requirements of embedded system, firstly this paper introduces the embedded system and the development process briefly, analysis of the system hardware platform detailedly including the structure of ARM microprocessor, the memory of S3C2410 based on ARM9 nuclear, ethernet chip and multilevel conversion chip and V2000 cameras with OV511 chip.Secondly study the work principle, kernel structure, related device drivers of operating system Linux and file system, aiming at construct an embedded video monitoring system based on the ARM. cut and transplant Linux kernel and file system, and adding the embedded Web server Boa, CGI and video server Webcam_server applications in file system, completed the server software design.Finally, as the results of this study, this paper present a result of monitoring system on smart home monitoring based on ARM9 in the form of video, realizing the client get server front-end USB camera image data collection via internet access to server, achieving the purpose of surveillance household video scene, and discuss the direction, prospects and significance of embedded system in smart home field development after detailed summary smart home network video monitoring method based on embedded.
