Campus grid is a hostpot in the educational world at present, the final purpose of which is to improve the efficiency of resourses and the property of the system by the services sharing. Campus grid services discovery is the precondition of grid services sharing which is the core of grid research, and whether or not discover the service efficiently is one of the basic standards to value the campus grid system. However, the exciting services discovery mechanisms fail to come into effect to target the features of the campus grid, it's necessary to put forward to a campus grid service discovery mechainsm with high efficiency.Firstly, this paper puts forward a unambiguous service description method according to campus grid services' features, such as isomerous, dynamic change and autonomious. The campus grid services are classified according to the service attributes, and then defied different basic attributes for each type of service. A unified metadata standard is dified according to the service type and basic attribute, and with which to describe the service.Secondly, this paper organizing campus grid services on the basis of metadata message. Using the distribution and extension of P2P network and the virtual characteristic of the overlay network, we establish a layered model partitioned the grid resource organization system into service layer, domain layer and virtual organization layer. and transformed the grid resource as logical node according to the type of resources. And transformed the grid services as logical node according to the idea that the same or resemble type of service are logical neighbour.Finally, according to the layered services management model and the sematic information of the service query sentence and high-performance principle of the service discovery mechanism, this paper puts forward a grid service discovery mechanism based on the three layer frame model by the IS-Gossip arithmetic and multi-layer pervasion fasion. Then we provide a simulation system using the algorithm we proposed with the GridSim toolkit on the three-layer frame model and service discovery mechamisam. And we do some analysis with the tradition Gossip service discovery algorithm. In this way, we can verify the validity and useableness of the algorithm.
