Temperature is a very important physical quantity in the industrial production process, However, it is very difficulty to accurately measure the temperature. On many occasions, the temperature monitoring of innovation, research and development has been carried out continuously. Fluorescence optical fiber temperature sensor due to its high sensitivity, corrosion resistance, electrical insulation and good, simple structure, small size, light weight, fast response, high information content, low power consumption, etc., are becoming the one of most active current areas in the research and development. In this paper, in order to achieve real-time measurement of temperature under special circumstances, a set of fluorescence optical fiber temperature measurement system is researched and designed.First it has described the mechanism of fluorescence generated ,then introduced several common fluorescent material and analyzed the general characteristics of the fluorescent material, based on this, analyzed the relationship between fluorescence lifetime and temperature ,provided a theoretical guarantee for the entire fluorescent optical fiber temperature measurement system.And then studied the basic structure of the fluorescence optical fiber temperature measurement system, analyzed basic working principle and basic characteristics of the device, including fiber-optic, light source, photoelectric detectors, optical couplers and so on. On this basis, the various component parts were selected reasonableIn order to solve incentive light leak issues arising from the error of using double-pulse modulation reference signal phase-locked detection techniques to detect fluorescence lifetime. In this paper, phase-locked loop is used to detect the phase of the fluorescence to get the fluorescence lifetime. The method for the detection of fluorescence lifetime that uses the technology of the phase-locked loop is mainly proposed. The basic principle and structure and the mathematics model of the phase-locked loop are researched in detail.Finally, a set of fluorescence optical fiber temperature measurement system is designed, including the light source and its driving circuit, fluorescent fiber optic probe, optical detector and preamplifier circuit, filter circuit and microcomputer system, and experimental study of the whole system, experiments show that the system has good sensitivity and accuracy.
