Nuclear power is the only energy, which achieves industrial applications and can substitute fossil fuel large-scale, and is one of the important means to achieve sustainable energy development. However, the harm of nuclear radiation on the human body is fatal, therefore, remote operation technology is essential for nuclear power robot, the robot which works under the nuclear environment is the goal which longs for even in dreams.With the rapid development of Internet, the robot remote operation based on Internet has been impossible. Robot based on network integrates the network technology and robot technology, and through the development of computer networks to expand the diversity of robot control system, so that operator can interactive and cooperate with robot control system through the browser. As a result, robot control breakthrough from the restrictions, realinter-regional and inter-space remote control, and make operator keep away from the dangerous operating environment.The system of robot remote control based on embedded technology is an integration of the embedded, network, robot, control and media stream teehnology. In this system, the robot take embedded linux as the core, and a Web server, together with a robot internet control server, is integrated into S3C2410, and turns on Internet by the wireless way. The operators may carry on the long-distance monitoring through the homepage browser to the robot. In this paper, the whole architecture and funetion is firstly introduced. As an open architecture, the hardware consists of microcontroller, vision, wireless, communication and motion controlr, for this hardware model, a narrative started form circuit perspective; for the parts of software, one kind of hierarchical software architecture is supplied, which includes the system software layer, the device driver layer and the application software layer. The system software layer includes bootloader guidance loading programming, Linux tailor and transplant, cramfs file system's manufacture; the device driver layer includes wireless network card programming and USB camera's driver as well as motor-driven programming; the application software layer includes the electrical machinery motion control and the camera rape control CGI programming, sensor signal gathering and the video signal gathering programming as well as man-machine interaction contact surface based on dynamic homepage. The whole system has many advantages, such as compact hardware,low power consumption, customization and open architecture. The deficiencies and ideas of improving ways are also brought about in the last of this paper.
