The problem of antenna coupling for mobile communication systems has been one of important subjects in electromagnetic compatibility field. It is of great engineering significance that the EMC simulation analysis of antennas installed on the mobile platform. With the developing of satellite communication technology, the application of paraboloidal antennas always used in high frequency becomes wider and wider. However, the calculation of the electromagnetic scattering of electrically large targets using rigorous electromagnetic algorithm has certain limitations. Therefore, it has been one of the difficult problems which are urgent to solve that the study of electromagnetic coupling between high-frequency antennas such as paraboloidal antennas.In this paper, the model of electromagnetic interference on paraboloidal antennas had been established. The coupling between antennas was approximately calculated by their far-field patterns. And then the EMC analysis of antennas had been done based on results. The comparison between electromagnetic characteristics of wire antennas and paraboloidal antennas for mobile communication system was given at first. And the fundamental mechanism of antenna coupling was analyzed. And then the coupling model between paraboloidal antennas which were placed anywhere on mobile platform was established. On this basis, the coupling formula was developed according to the normalized far-field patterns of the electric-field intensity, and the scope of the coupling models were analyzed in detail. In addition, the transformation relationship between the global coordinate system and local coordinate system of paraboloidal antennas were introduced detailedly. And then the EMC characteristics analysis of paraboloidal antennas for mobile communication system was realized based on some typical examples combined project studies.
