Research On Networking Technology Of Cooperative Engagement Information System

The concept of cooperative engagement was born in 1970s; it is a revolutionary theory about aerial defense and anti-guidance wars of sea. Cooperative Engagement Information System, CEIS, based on American naval CEC (Cooperative Engagement Capability), has many its own characters.We can divide this paper into three parts. In the first part, we introduce the concept of cooperative engagement and its operational principles. Then we talk about CEC, Last, we introduce CEIS system design, introduce its technical targets, node structure, service types, frame design , key technologies ,operational procedure and so on. In the second part, we mainly research on CEIS networking technology, describe its design goal and procedure, analyze its performances. Networking technology includes four schemes: networking scheme when CEIS starts; clustering algorithm based on an advanced sensor-shared plan; topological management of the system; time slot update scheme. In the final part of this paper, we use OPNET Modeler to simulate CEIS and analyze simulation results with details. All these theory research and simulation results provide bases for CEIS's realization.
