Key Technology Of Space Object Identification Based On Image

With the further prosperous of the exploitation of global space resources and the developemnt of the space war trend in future, the outer space has been gradually becoming the new battlefield for millitary struggle, in which, space object monitor and identification plays a basic and important role.According to the three features of space object, namely fuzzy, high noise interference and changebal external form, the paper mainly dicusses the following three issues: image clearness preprocessing, edge extraction and object identifiation. First, the functions and current development of the space object identifiation as well as the methods of image preprocessing of images formed by opto-electronic telescope system are introduced. Second, morphological feature extraction of optical and radar image of space object as well as the the object edge adaptive extract algorithm of edited optical image are analyzed. Third, the chatacteristics of object image blocks are extracted by characteristic constant operator (e.g. Fourier wavelet transform) and the characteristics extraction and object identification of 2-D object RST morphing are discussed. The actual space object test proves the effectiveness of the present method in the paper. And a space object identification system is establised, charging the management, processing and identifiction of object identification image. Last, a summary of the theoretical and practical work in the paper, the difficulties in the current actual identifiction, and the suggestions and improvement for future work are given.
