Design And Development Of Management Software For Sports Event Information Publishing

As an important part of sports event information display system, the managementsoftware is in charge of collecting, processing and publishing information instantly.There are some repeation jobs in the development of the management software fordifferentsportsevents.This paper analyzes the rules and requirements of various types of sports, andconstructes the universal structure of management software which based on universalmodules.The universal structure consists with timing subsystem, recording subsystemand network communication module.The timing subsystem uses double buffering toavoid flickering display;Thenetwork communication module uses dual-port technologyto improve the efficiency of information transmission; The recording subsystem usesXML technology to storage and share information. Developed on the base of theuniversal structure, the basketball management software can collect and publish theinformationinstantly.Test results show that the universal structure reduces repeation jobs in thedevelopmentofthemanagementsoftware,andshortensthedevelopmentcycle.
