The Simulation And Implementation Of OFDM Communication System Based On SDR

Wireless communication has been at the rapid development, but due to the limited spectrum resources and diversity in current wireless communication systems, the future wireless communication technologies will move towards broadband and universal software platform.Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the development history and trends of wireless communications, then gives a short introduction about OFDM and SDR which comply with the development trends of wireless communications. Secondly, the basic principles of OFDM and SDR are discussed in chapter two detailedly. And then in chapter three, the OFDM system is divided into two parts:the transmitter and receiver. Build and simulate the OFDM communication system under Matlab software environment. The simulation results confirm the effectiveness and correctness of the system parameters. After an overview of the current OFDM hardware system, chapter four describes the configurations of digital up converter and digital down converter, as well as the interface design between DSP and FPGA, then points out that current system has two disadvantages:high bit error and bad constellation. After working out these shortcomings through software and hardware synthesis debugging, the modified system shows better performances. Finally, this paper gives the plans to the next step.
