Airborne troop communication system is a wireless communication system used in a special background of application, which is a digital outdoor communication&commanding platform with high efficiency and strong robust. It makes use of the key theories and technologies of Ad hoc Networks, making the basic functions such as node localization, members'location display and even voice communication available,in order to provide good support to airborne troop gathering guidance&airdrop equipment collection, enhancing the cooperation abilities of the airborne troops. The program involved in this dissertation aims at building a software simulation platform on the PC,on which the airborne&assembly progress and the communication behavior could be simulated,in order to discuss the possibility of the implementation of such wireless communication system. As a member of this work team, the author has made achievements as below:System architecture designing and module integrating;Airborne&assembly modeling and node localization module;Radio wave propagation module, terminal display module and simulation control system;Basic research on static network topology characteristics. All the functions above are implemented and integrated on the software platform developed by the author, using C++ Builder 6.Besides,some additional simulation and analysis modules are added to the software, for the purpose of further research. The main chapters of this dissertation are arranged in the sequenc of the modules listed above. The design and implementation of all the modules are introduced in details, and all the essential simulation results are shown and described. As a primary innovative point, the airborne modeling derivation and the node localization algorithm will be introduced as a key point in the dissertation.
