With the development of optical thin film technology, optical instruments has been applied not only in scientific research, but also in people's lives is used more widely. Today the optical thin-film theory and technology have been developed, the visible band thin-film design and production are basically meet for the different needs of people, and the ultraviolet and infrared bands thin-film design and production has just been valued by the people last ten years, in theory and technology still needs further study and practice. This paper, gets some design methods from the research on the design theory of the anti-reflection. The simplex method and genetic algorithm are applied in the design of anti-reflection coating system, learn about two kinds of optimization methods' advantages and disadvantages, and the design lies in the 3-5 micron and 8-15 micron Dual-band transmittance of 92% or more of the film system structures.
