Self-adapting filter ,which based on the different external conditions , can automatically adjust parameters to meet the demands of the object which is unknown and time-varying. Therefore , filtering signal in unknown environment , the adaptive filter has higher performance than the traditional fixed-coefficient filter . Adaptive noise compensation belongs to adaptive signal processing field . It can self-adjusts the transmission characteristics of filter , which baseds on the unrelated characteristics of the noise and the measured signal, to process the interference noise . In this paper, study of adaptive filter in high-order aspheric surface shape detection,we use top-down design to implement self-adapting filter by using FPGA . FIR filter structure using least mean square (LMS) algorithm can be used to design adaptive filter , which is able to double the speed of filtering.at the same hardware resources . With the Verilog HDL code , using the Quartus II environment to compile, synthesis and simulation, filters can be a good way to eliminate noise.
