Genetic algorithm uses a group of search technology, simulating the evolution of the law of nature, by applying " Selection"," Crossover" and " Mutation" to the current population. Generate a new group and to groups with or close to the optimal solution to the state to gradually close. Because of its algorithm is of simple, easy to implement, the practical application of the results clear and is widely used in many areas, such as artificial intelligence, pattern recognition.This paper focuses on distributed intrusion detection and detection algorithms used in the key. First, expounded on the intrusion detection and analysis of intrusion detection model and the importance of algorithms to do the research. In which the original model can not meet the needs of the rapid development of computer networks, this paper presents a mobile AGENT -based distributed intrusion detection model can adapt to the reality of the work environment, as opposed to the original model of the performance increased. Finally focus on the use of intrusion detection algorithms, After BP algorithm and genetic algorithm for the analysis of strengths and weaknesses and put forward an improved genetic algorithm. Through theoretical validation and data analysis, the improved algorithm more efficient than the existing algorithms. The new algorithm runs faster, more efficient, consuming less memory to solve the existing problems in intrusion detection, intrusion detection rule base for the rich, and the detection efficiency is very effective.
