Gas regulator is one of the important equipments in the gas distribution system. Both the leakage rate and the static pressure operating characteristic are very important indexes to judge a regulator's performance. By the methods of integration of theoretic analysis and simulation, a new regulator detection system based on ARM was designed, according to the features of gas regulator and the functional requirements of detection.The main contents are as follows:The first chapter introduces the importance of gas regulator during gas transmission; analyzes the necessity and important meaning of the regulator detection. In this part, I finally put forward research objects and contents.In the second chapter, I contribute a math model of bubble leak testing and estimate the leak detection sensitivity according to the actual conditions. Emulate the procedure of leak detection by differential pressure detecting method; analyze the factors as temperature, pressure, volume .et al, which influences the detecting result; put forward the total solution of the air tightness testing system and the improved solution of the regulator hydrostatic testing system nowadays.The third chapter discusses the hardware design based on ARM. According to the requirements of detection system, I complete the hardware circuit design including core circuit, data acquisition circuit, SD card memory circuit .et al, and develop the hardware bottom driver program.In the fourth chapter, I complete the boot-loader programming; contribute the real-time operation system based on uc/OS-II, uc/GUI and FAT16 file system. Develop application software; achieve the air leakage detection subsystem and the static characteristics detection subsystem; provide a friendly human-machine interface for users.The chapter five discusses the method of debugging and testing, analyzes the testing date.The last chapter is a conclusion of the whole thesis and there are also some perspective opinions about the posterior tasks in it.
