The Design And Implementation Of A Website Management Information System Based On Web

Along with social progress and the continuous development of information technology, computer-and-network-based office automation system has become an important way for businesses to improve efficiency. Many departments of government, businesses, schools and even individuals use web-based information systems as a platform for advocacy and promotion of their own, and as an important means to improve the management level. As web technology develops, we have been able to bring database technology with the integration of Web technologies to develop interactive web-based applications, able to bring the human, social integration with the Internet to achieve information with the abilities of real-time, interactive and dynamic in nature.We designed and developed the Information Management System for School of Software of Tianjin Normal University. The Information Management System makes full use of Internet Network Resources, implementing the the introduction for the Software College, college admissions information, news release and other functions. In this system the information management is more standardized . The system includes several kinds of modules, such as college profiles, information center, the UGC team, disciplines, contact us and other 11 sub-systems. The system can easily and flexibly complete user interaction, a more comprehensive display of the college college conditions, college characteristics, and promote the construction and development for the college.This paper first introduces the research background and design of the Web-based Information Management System and analyzes the characteristics and applications; Based on the Requirement Analysis for this systemin, We implement the Architectural Design and Database Design; Besids, we analyzes the theory and key technology in the development, expound concrete realization of the system and the implementation process for parts of functions; Finally, we proposed the system testing methods.We use software engineering methods to design and develop the system, implement the access to database with ADO in ASP, and complete the development of the system combining with Access technology. Now the system has been put into operation and achieves the expected results.
