Biology recognition technology has been mentioned by researchers more and more in last few years,and iris recognition technology became the hotspot in the field of bio-recognition because of its high stability and uniqueness.In this paper ,we discuss the status and the application foreground of the iris recognition technology at first,and analysis the feature extraction arithmetic whick is most important in recognition.In numerous feature extraction arithmetic applied in iris recognition,arithmetic based on statistics like PCA(Principle Component Analysis) and LDA(Linear Discriminant Analysis) and improved arithmetic based on them have been regarded more and more important by researchers recent years.In this paper,we discuss the arithmetic based on statistics farther,and then combine it with the wavelet which is very popylar in the field of dealing with digital image,proposed two arithmetics separate which are Iris Recognition Based on Wavelet Transform and 2D-PCA,A Kind of Iris Recognition Algorithm Based on 2D-PLDA and Wavelet Subband . In the Step of unknown sample classification, we use Hamming-distance,Euclidean-distance and K-Neighbor .The experiment results validate the tow arithmetics proposed. Futher more ,according to combined with the wavelet, the arithmetics get more exact and robust result.At last ,we conclude the job that been done in the last three years ,and then discuss the foreground of the iris recognition technology and the problem with it.
