With the computer graphics and photorealistic rendering technology becoming mature, non-photorealistic rendering style of the image difference in realistic style into computer drawing has become a computer science and art of combining a hot research field .watercolor painting of besides pen picture, monochrome ink painting, Chinese picture and cartoon , non-credibility is one of the branch study in this field, It's one of the most difficult and complicated work in this field that reproduces a watercolor painting, for in the process of pigment and water spreading over and drying during the watercolor painting, which will produce the gentleness, transparency, luminosity and other manifold random changes. This kind of complicated performance will reflect interaction of the natural influence, which is impossible to achieve by hand. The process of the analog simulation of a watercolor painting of non-credibility is a complicated and significant. The study purpose, method and innovation of the paper are as fellows:(1) To achieve the ideal watercolor effect, through the analysis and research of realistic rendering methods and characteristics of watercolor, we put forward a new method of simulated watercolor. basing on non-photorealistic rending method of image processing, according to important information of the input images of the photos, it is to carry on the five successive steps: edge line detection , the edge of dark, pigment proliferation, flow pattern processing, paper and other textures to achieve etc. At the same time to achieve the two most basic rendering in watercolor drawing of (that is, the drawing of wet to dry and wet to wet) showed unique artistic effect of the watercolor painting, which makes the effect of non-photorealistic watercolor painting closer to the traditional ones.(2) According to the traditional water color paints diffusion process and diffusion, the weighted average of the eight areas of the proliferation algorithms replacing the traditional four areas of proliferation of a simple algorithm will achieve a better spread of the effect of watercolor paints. Another is proposed watercolor non-realistic simulation method based on morphological structure of multi-scale color. in the realization of the dark edge and the flow pattern characteristics of the process, with the combination of color morphological open and close, expansion and corrosion operator theory, designing a new ring, round and diamond-shaped structure. In addition, by using different sizes of structure elements and more space scale and electing the image characteristics in different color model, finally it achieved effective simulation of the non-realistic watercolor.(3) In the non-realistic simulation of watercolor, each simulation model of the selected color is improper, which will be seriously affect the effects of whole simulation watercolor, or even the distortion of image. By analyzing and studying the main characteristics and the characteristics of the model in different colors, the realization of the edge of dark watercolor, pigment patterns and the spread of the flow algorithm in the RGB and HSV color model respectively will draw a better watercolor effect. The final experiment shows that: the method presented in this paper realizes the characters such as the aquarelle edges dark, pigments and flow pattern and texture, reproduces unique artistic effect of non-photorealistic rendering so that the simulation result of non-realistic watercolor is satisfactory.
