The actual geometric parameters of the hull segment are important feedback, which are essential in the hull accuracy control system and the actual basis of accuracy control. The traditional hull detection is separated from data processing, real-time and accurate comparison of detection data is not available, which has the disadvantages of insufficient detection points and time-consuming operation, and does not meet the current trends and requirements of digital shipbuilding. Therefore, the study and development of a hull detection system to improve the detection speed and accuracy is necessary. In this context, the hull detection techniques and data processing are in-depth studied, hull accuracy aided detection system based on PDA is designed, which is divided into three modules: detection of hull segments, data transmission and storage, statistical analysis.Firstly, the requirements analysis of hull detection and data processing is carried out, the overall design method and the framework based on. NET three-tier structures of system are proposed, system function is divided and hardware architecture is given. Then comparison mechanism of two sets of points' coordinate data is set up, coordinate system conversion is achieved by using the seven-parameter similarity transformation model, thus error comparison of 3D model management points and physical points in the same coordinate system is achieved. In order to ensure reliable data transmission between PDA and processing center, the methods of network status monitoring and data caching are studied, data transmission method under online and offline network status is given, data transmission and storage module is achieved. Finally, in the process of statistical analysis module implementation, office components and ADO.NET data-processing techniques are used to generate statistical analysis reports by using local resources, the phenomenon of response delay caused by repeated accessing to the database is avoided.The main function of the system has been implemented and is test run, basically meet the requirements of hull segments detection and act as role of improve detection efficiency and the guidance to hull segments assembly. This shows that the system design is reasonable; the technology is used in the right route.
