VoD (video on demand, video frequency dibble seeding) system is very important one technology in multi-media in the nowadays application system.The introduction of video on demand system into network teaching platform enables students to demand teaching video independently, which has become one of the important functions in the network teaching platform. Meanwhile, it also broke convention that in the traditional teaching, teachers can not repeatedly explain a certain part of the program in the limited time and the students also can not review the contents of the programs in the after-school. To upload the teaching video online and by offering the functionality of video on demand enable students to better understand the knowledge on class, therefore, a network video teaching becomes one of the important functions in network teaching platform.The main contents of this paper consists of two parts. The first part aims at the problem for the interactive control. First, it described the main ideas, and then expounds on the thought of algorithm about jump forward, jump backward, pause and continue, stop and describe it on details. The second part aims at the problem for load balancing. First, it describe the traditional dynamic feedback load balancing algorithm which is based on Linux Virtual Server (Linux Virtual Server, called LVS) system and pointed out two of the defects, and then the two defects are given for improving program. Finally, it test the improvement program.Experimental results show that to some extent, the improved algorithm can alleviate the problem for load imbalance between video server in the network video teaching.The innovation of this paper is to give the corresponding improvement program by aiming at two shortcomings of the traditional dynamic feedback load balancing algorithm based on Linux virtual server system and proved the feasibility of improving the program in theory through experiments. The inadequate is not according to the teaching video of the cold divide its popularity and give the corresponding flow scheduling and load balancing mechanism. This problem can be more in-depth study in the future.
