With the rapid development of computer science to all areas of society in particular field of medicine has brought tremendous innovation, the progressive realization of the health care industry information. Medical record as the most important document of medical organization, the degree of its own information directly related to the degree of information technology throughout the industry.Electronic medical records present study focused on theoretical research and practical application of the hospital information system only briefly to expand. The main problem is not a uniform to meet the different needs, also has practical significance of technical standards and to achieve the standard framework, and therefore, all systems, or between various systems with difficulty the data alternately or data sharing, can not support the acquisition and display of rich clinical data of patients and image information. In view of the information in the realization of XML standardization, unified information, information exchange and sharing of technology has its unique advantages, decided it must be an effective solution for electronic medical records.With the rapid development of the PDA mobile embedded technology and XML technology in the PDA embedded electronic medical record system can better serve the medical staff to provide timely and accurate real-time search, edit the information stored patient medical records to doctors Reference decision-making, while services in clinical research, modern hospital management, remote medical consultation system, the true realization of the hospital information management.In this paper, design of PDA embedded electronic medical records system is amain line, to achieve the PDA serial driver rewrite and touch screen driver development;proposed XML documents and HIS medical records system conversion program; established the embedded medical record information knowledgebase according to the embedded medical record input contact surface; proposed XML-based PDA embedded electronic medical records system design; and proposed XML digital encryption and decryption technology to solve medical data consistency and security issues.
