LTE supports two models, TD-LTE and LTE-FDD. It will be commercial in the next few years. TD-LTE and LTE-FDD will coexist in adjacent frequency bands. So it is meaningful for us to research the coexistence interference. Operators must consider the interference between the two systems in order to reduce the loss of system throughput when they plan the radio network in the future. Thus spectrum resources will be made effective use of.The paper mainly researches the interference between TD-LTE and LTE-FDD which coexist in adjacent frequency bands. First, based on the analysis of intra-system and inter-system interference, the paper deduces the calculation method of SINR in the single system and multi-system case. Second, with the simulation description of 3GPP TR 36.942, the paper designs and carries out interference simulation between TD-LTE and LTE-FDD systems by MATLAB. Finally, the paper analyses simulation results from the throughput loss which is affected by diffident location offsets of base stations, different carrier frequency and different power control parameters. And it puts forward suggestions to solve the interference problem.
