Research And Implementation Of Multimedia Security In Instlink System

VoIP security issues become a growing concern, especially the media data security. How to ensure the safety of media stream transportation and key exchange and management, is one of the core issues to be resolved.This paper first analyzes the security threats which VoIP systems may be subject to, and then, after an in-depth study of the existing security mechanisms of media data, finally proposes a media stream security solution for Instlink system. The solution uses the high-throughput and low expansion of security protocols SRTP to guarantee the security of real-time media data transmission; and expands the multimedia session signaling protocol Jingle to achieve an effective key management, while the media stream key management protocol ZRTP has been designed to improve the key agreement process.
