LXI is intended for the application of developed Ethernet Technology in Auto-Test field, so that distributed measurement and control systems can be easily constructed. For B-class LXI devices, the point is that IEEE1588 protocol should be embedded with the precondition that ethernet communication function has already been realized as C-class devices demand, which means to supply the gap of weak timing about Ethernet, thus the precision of test instrument and system can be improved to enhance the ability of synchronization and triggering for network-instrument system.This paper designed and realized a B-class LXI interface module based on 32-bit embedded system which is named after LXI Module Development Platform V1.0. In this paper, the eight hardware modules of power module,core module,memory module,RS-232 module,ethernet module,USB module,GPIB module and JTAG module are introduced detailedly, as well as the five software modules. Based on this eight-module hardware platform, a software structure of TCP/IP+μC/OS+SCPI translator+IEEE1588 was built. The future perfection and realization of new functions can be carried out under this software structure.This paper presented the implementation scheduling of this system, and put forward the plan and assumption of the unfinished part and the finished part worthy of perfection.
