Comb filter has very important applications in the respect of WDM (wavelength division multiplexing), multiwavelength lasers and so on. Comb filter with fiber bragg grating has received great attention because of its choiceness capability of reflection or transmission , low insert loss ,small size and easy integration with fiber. We improve a comb filter construction which symmetric chirped fiber grating inserted into a Sagnac loop in this thesis and Proposed a new structure witch the same two fiber bragg grating inserted into comb filter.the characteristic of this new comb filter is studied. The relation between the frequency response and the parameters of the comb filter, such as fiber length, modulate deepness and chirp parameter is discussed. analyse the dispersion compensate of chirped fiber gratings. Design and set up Test bed and obtain transmitted spectrum with low insert loss and symmetrical intervals in experimentation. Work in this thesis conquer the shortcoming of fiber bragg grating Sagnac loop .it have practical value. |
