The Ultra-wide Band Detection Radar

Since the ultra-wide band (UWB) technology has been introduced, it has become more and more widely used due to the unique characteristics of the ultra-wideband signal propagation. The UWB detection radar is one of significant applications in UWB technology. Compared with the conventional continues wave radars, the UWB pulse radar has its own advantages such as high accuracy, fine confidentiality, low power consumption and low cost.First, a new method for building the discrete time UWB channel model was proposed. It can provide a good UWB channel discrete model in the estimation of channel characteristics. Based on this new model, the paper also proposed a circuit simulation model to design the UWB circuit. At last, a kind of UWB detection radar was developed. It can locate and track targets and detect the life information of human beings.The paper also presented a lot of simulation and experimental results which proved that the research of this paper has a good scientific research value and application prospect.
