Greenhouse agriculture is a form of modern farming based on man made environment. It regulates the greenhouse environment based on modern information technology, and crop requirements at different growth stage to improve crop yields and save the farming production inputs. Greenhouse agriculture is an important development trend of modern agriculture.In this thesis, modern agricultural greenhouse environmental monitoring system is designed and completed. The greenhouse environmental controller is based on Samsung S3C2410 microprocessor and embedded ARM9 hardware systems. Wireless sensor network is used for greenhouse data collection.Based on ARM9 hardware platform and embedded Linux operating system, a software development cross-compiling environment of greenhouse environmental monitoring system is established. Bootloader, Linux kernel cutting and compiling, the root file system, low-level driver software, application design and greenhouse environmental monitoring system software design are analysed in detail. On this basis, RS-232 serial port driver routines, data acquisition and processing of greenhouse controller, GPRS wireless TCP / IP communication subroutine, and greenhouse environment monitoring and management system software of the remote central management device are completed.The above system design and monitoring software was tested in a simulated greenhouse environment. Results show that the temperature and humidity data can be transmitted by greenhouse ARM controllers and GPRS. greenhouse environment monitoring software of remote central management device can complete the monitoring task, and the system accuracy can meet the greenhouse agricultural production requirements.
