The present status of Virtual Manufacturing and Virtual Assembly is introduced and analyzed in this Paper,and put forward the CRH3 bogie virtual assembly technology research and application combining with the factory assembly process.The thesis intensive studies the concept, characteristic, component, classify and the key Technique of virtual reality and virtual assembly; Analyzed the developing actuality of virtual assembly; introduced the theory and characteristics; Based on this foundation, this thesis introduces the Principle and method of carrying out every function module of the CRH3 Bogies virtual assembly system:First, Used Visual C++2005, OSG and Qt build up the virtual environment.Second, Using Pro/E modeling CRH3 Bogies 3D parts assembly entity model; Combining the Google SketchUp and 3ds Max modeling the CRH3 bogie Assembly workshop. Research the implementation method of file leading-in the virtual assembly system.Third, Introduced how to achieve the mutuality of the user and the virtual environment.and virtual assembling the CRH3 bogie in the system.Finally, Taking the air spring of the CRH3 bogie for virtual assembling in the environment of virtual assembly process as an example. Users can through the mouse and keyboard combination to assembling or disassembling in the system,and system will record the process and according to user's requirements, the user can play from various angles to watch the assembly process, improve user's perceptual acknowledgment to assembly operation, and greatly reduce the cost of the assembly personnel training.
