The car is equivalent to the human's second family. As an important part of comfort, automotive air-conditioning system plays an important role. It looks like a window, which shows the car's internal environmental conditions. The realization of air-conditioning can be divided into two types:manual air-conditioning and automatic air-conditioning. In this paper, based on the actual project needs, we designed a CAN bus based dual-zone automatic air conditioning control system.An introduction of the automobile air-conditioning systems development, combined with the status of automotive air-conditioning system, is described by this paper. Based on the requirement of low power consumption, a low current solution is raised and the sleep mode is achieved by power cut-off by CAN, the experiment shows that the design meets the desired requirements; to meet the requirement of system robustness, a high-low voltage protection, as well as the short circuit or open circuit diagnoze of each module is introduced, and through a detailed worst-case calculation, the general ideas of air-conditioning control system hardware design is described.Then some of the major control strategies, such as fog prevention, temperature settings, and compensation, energy, etc., are described and the software design process of automatic air-conditioning systems is introduced as typical by the blower module developpment.Finally, he basic functions of products is verified by the production of the test box and the debug board.
