Study And Development On Remote Wireless Image Monitoring System Based On ARM9

With the development of video image processing technology,network communication technology and embedded computer technology ,it becomes true to implement the wireless image capture system based on embeded chips.This paper introduces a solution about image capturing & encoding system based on ARM9 S3C2440,which combines wireless communication network and mature system such as streaming system,wap system in the traditional data communication network ,aiming for providing convient,any-time any-where remote image capturing service to the mobile subscribers.Firstly,this paper gives us a brief introduction and analysis about video monitoring presently ,as well as the major technologies concerned ,including embedded technology,static image and dynamic video compressing technology,mobile data communication technology.Learning about certain theories ,it advances a total design solution with specific objectives.And then, according to the determinated scheme ,it gives us a detailed implementation composed of hardware architecture,embeded linux migration,usb camera driver migration,Video4Linux programming method,network transport module development,establishment for streaming system,WAP programming and so on .Lastly presented with the results in the testing environment.Such system implements static image and video capturing,encoding using the embedded chip ,after being transfered to the video center server ,the images can be shown on the 2G/3G terminals throuth wap brower or streaming player.There`s a great characteristic that is the distribution C/S architecture (between capturing end and video center server) ,as well as B/S architecture(between WAP server and mobile equipment) ,it`s easy for system dynamic expansion;what`s more , it also takes the utilization of wap technology to realize the wireless connection of traditional video capturing.
