College Teaching Management Information System Design And Implementation

With the rapid advance of modem information technology and the improvement of network establishment, people have achieved great success in integrating IT into higher education. Lots of Information Systems for teaching management in college have been put into practice, and they are beneficial for advancing the innovation of higher education teaching management. The system can set down the teaching plan, arrange the course automatically, and manage the course, resource of the school, student and so on. It can convenient the educational administration office arrange the teaching plan. Correspond the teaching resource and convenient the intercommunion. It definitudes the duty of different departments to make the teaching management more effective, convenient and rapid.Compared with similar system in existence, our system has a perfect function and is used conveniently and compactly, which can finish more reasonable course-ranking using fast collision detection algorithm. The designed subsystem of teaching planning management system and course-ranking have lively characteristic. We use the model based structure to design the teaching plan. This is more convenient and humanism to use.In the paper, we present the research status at home and abroad, and introduces the purpose and importance of the research. Then the definition, feature and time significance of the teaching management information system are discussed; the business process and analysis and system requirement analysis are also given. Based on the system designing principle, the system global design, which includes system hierarchical structure, logical structure, software structure and database designing, is given. The mathematical model of the intelligent course arranging is designed, and the intelligent analytical backtracking algorithm is proposed. Then the concrete implementation of the teaching management information system is presented. The system adopts the hybrid structure of C/S and B/S. The client function is composed of 9 modules, while the web application is composed of 7 modules. The implementation process of teaching plan management sub-system and course arrangement sub-system are discussed emphatically. Finally it summarizes the paper and analyzes the future work.
