The Design And Implementation Of Moving Objects Detection System

The moving objects detection system is based on the technology of detecting and tracing moving targets in the computer vision field. It is according to the state and position of the moving targets to output the information automatically. The design of this system is a new application in intelligent video field. The tradition moving targets detection and tracing technology can only analysis, process and use various characteristics of moving targets from video data or sequence images to detect , locate and trace moving targets, there is no corresponding follow-up treatment. However , on this basis , after detecting and tracing moving targets ,this system is making the appropriate follow-up processing. That is using detecting and tracing result to show the position automatically. This system can be used in the security monitoring, lighting design in company and so on. It is can not only liberating human from heavy work, but also saving resources.This thesis is focus on the algorithms of moving targets detecting, moving target contour processing and shadow suppression, and moving target location and tracking under single-camera. This system can detect, locate multi-moving targets and predict, tracing moving orbits. The main contributions of this thesis are as follows:First of all, for moving target detection problem, this paper analysis the principles of typical moving detection algorithms, discusses the background modeling algorithms and carry out a specific comparison of experiments .From the result of experiments, I select a rapid moving targets detection algorithm to apply in this system .Secondly, for marking and tracing moving targets, this paper adopts the related image processing techniques to fill and de-noise the detected moving targets .On this basis, this paper proposes a new chain-code filling algorithm. We use RLE coding algorithm to segment and mark multi-moving targets. On tracing algorithms, This paper uses common Kalman filter to predict and tracing moving targets, the result is very perfect.Finally, for easily migrating this system on embedded development board, the present system is designed on the Linux system .Other more , also design of the system support modules: the administration PC and the simulator, so that the system's experiment was more clarified.
