This paper mainly discusses on the essential part of video moving object analyzing technology—moving objects tracking algorithm and the standard description of moving objects tracking results.In video moving objects analysis process, moving objects tracking is based on moving objects detection. The primary purpose of video objects tracking is to achieve motion feature of moving objects, including motion track and instantaneous motion parameters and so on. As major video take semantic contents by way of motion information, anglicizing and capturing meaningful dynamic information become more and more important part of multimedia information processing technology, so as to highly interests on the research have been focused on.This paper discusses the general method of surveillance video motion feature analyzing and moving objects detection and tracing at first. Then try to draw a conclusion of a system framework of the surveillance video moving objects tracing. This paper also finds a feature matching arithmetic which is based on probabilities. In this arithmetic, we pick out a set of representative feature group and then we may get the moving objects by moving objects detection method based on background subtraction method in order to extract the motion features of the moving objects regions. After that we can calculate matching probabilities and combination matching probabilities, at last accomplish objects tracking through features matching. When dealing with multi-objects tracking, assignment algorithm will be considered too. When we get video motion information, tracing results need to be recorded and saved in some standard expressive way, so that video motion analyzing results can be utilized effectively. The paper makes use of the video feature semi-automatic describing method based on MPEG-7 to describe the moving objects tracing arithmetic results canonically. It accomplished video motion information effective description to a certain degree, which facilities the surveillance video information organizing and managing based content.In order to validate the algorithm, we accomplished it in a filter with the DirectShow SDK developing environment, and made certain moving objects tracing tests. Results show that the algorithm in this paper could get certain satisfying results in different environments.
