With flexibility to connect to network and convenience to setup a network, the WLAN develops so quickly. And the same time security mechanism of WLAN is weak, so it is very important to use security analysis products to manage it. In this paper, security mechanisms of WLAN and WEP encryption algorithm are introducted detailedly; at the same time, 802.11i and WPA security protocols are also described. A variety of leaks are pointed out about WEP encryption mechanism, and a variety of attacks against them are analyzed.In this dissertation, the working principle of security analysis system is firstly studied, and what role distributed terminals act as in this system is studied too. Then the security analysis terminals are implemented, which base on ARM processor. As a high-performance, cost-efective processor, The ARM9TDMI is developed by ARM Corporation and has high-performance, cost-efective characteristics. It has been included in Samsung's S3C2410, which combine with many other functions, such as USB interface, RTC, etc. So it is a good ideal to solve embedded systems development. In this dissertation, the hardware interface modules of this embedded product platform are proposed, designed, realized.Linux OS has many significant advantages, such as open codes and arbitrable characteristic, etc. The software is based on this operation system. The drive development principle is introduced under Linux operating system, and USB bus driver development process is described detailedly. This dissertation researches the principles of capturing packets and sending custom-built packets and implements to capture packets using Libpcap and to send custom-built packets using Lorcon, based on open items in open community under Linux.The application of security analysis terminal uses design frame, which has good performance in expansibility and flexibility. The bottom network socket functions and protocol coding/decoding functions have been developed, which use C/C++ tool and act as support lib, and new Tcl commands are defined, so this dissertation extends Tcl command, and has a good tool to satisfy user demand. Based on these extending commands, the top interface module can be programmed by using Tcl script language, and the manage server also program security analysis script. This frame module has good expansibility and flexibility, and it isn't obligatory to compile the project after the interface module beeing amended.At last, the system performance is tested, and it satisfies user requirment completely.
