With the rapid development of economy, people continue to enhance the sences of security. Therefore, more and more monitor system to be extensively applied to all walks of life. Based on the video monitoring system of PC, due to its high price, low reliability, short-distance transmission, and someone on duty requirement,In this paper, a moving object detection system used for accessing to the monitor scene has been designed, which is based on embedded technology, in order to uClinux operating system for the software platform, relied on digital image processing technology and the Internet.The Blackfin533 DSP chip of ADI Company is the system's core processor in the thesis. Author chose uClinux embedded operate system as a software development platform which is open source can be cut out, and has good security and real-time characteristic. A coLinux software development environment also be established, and put forward the overall design of the system.The paper introduced the hardware structure of image acquisition part in this system. Author wrote a video collection program for completing video image capture acquis, and the image format conversion program for completing produce the BMP image file to get a clear image.An improved software algorithm is created to the traditional moving defect detection algorithm, which is based on the digital image processing technology, through the background modeling, image pre-processing, and improved object detection algorithm to complete the detection of moving targets. Hardware structure of network part in this system is elaborated and the data sending program is written completing the data transmission between the Windows and Linux operating systems(two different operating systems), The network transmission of moving object image by detected is accomplished.Finally, the thesis analyzed the transplantation of the bootloader program Uboot, and resolved the difficulties transplant uClinux operating system. The uClinux operating systems was successful transplanted, debugged and improved the development of the entire system. Author summarized the development of embedded system hardware platform design methodology and experience. In this paper, the results of the design as a laboratory of the second test embedded applications platform for product development and teaching.
