The Design And Realization Of Right Protect System In Digital Media File Based On DRM

To guarantee the legal rights of the authority owner and strike piratical activity, the Digital Rights Management (DRM) system was designed.Based on the technique of Windows Media Rights Management (WMRM) owned by Microsoft Corporation, the system was developed with .net as its tool. It was composed of content package, content distribution, license award, user management, background management, consumption recharging etc.The system added the random built secret key and the copyright information appended by the system administrators to the heads of source files, used unsymmetrical encryption algorithm to sign the heads of files and put them into the shared network directory for customer to download after the files were encrypted by symmetrical encryption algorithm. When users wanted to play the downloaded files, the player should check the license storeroom first. Without valid license, it redirected to the appointed web page for certification, and transmitted the information of the heads of locked files and the hardware information of the client. Users selected the type of license and paid on the appointed web page, then the system generated license and sent it to the license storeroom of the client. Encrypt files and generate licenses were developed by the WMRM module.After test, the results indicated that the system was designed accurately, ran steadily, and could prevent the network piracy basically. So it has a relatively high use value.
