Mechanical fault diagnosis has been playing an important role in machinery industry. For more convenient and accurate detection of mechanical fault, the thesis has designed a signal processing module applied to the mechanical fault detection system. The signal processing module can be used for processing the vibration signal by algorithms such as FFT, and can find the fault's characteristic frequency. In addition, the DSP of the module has an interface, so the DSP can be connected to 51 series MCU system. As a general-purpose processing algorithm module, it can complete the digital signal processing, which is difficult for MCU. And it ensures the MCU system's real-time.Firstly, the thesis introduces basic theories of modern fault diagnose techniques, the digital signal processing techniques and processors. The following work primarily discusses mechanical fault mechanisms and diagnoses based on vibrant analysis. In the researches on signal processing, this thesis lays emphases on digital filter, FFT transform, correlation analysis and so on. On one hand as hardware of this system, the thesis focuses on the TMS320F2812 minimize system, dual-port RAM level matching and anti-jamming problem. On the other hand as software, the thesis focuses CCS, algorithms and so on. Lastly, the thesis discusses an extended application base on the motor.As a high-speed DSP, the TMS320F2812 is applied in such wide field as mechanical fault diagnosis, motor controlled. This thesis has the value of utility and reference for other applications and researches.
