More and more enterprises build up their own website on the Internet in order to promote corporate image ,promulgate their information, etc. The Internet has become a huge center for corresponding and bargaining, which contains the large development potential and business opportunities. The superhighways of information spread all over the world, like a system of the centrum nerve, making various business activities gone in short time. The whole world has already become a global common market. The electronic commerce as a modern style service means emerges with the tide of the times.For several years, with the tide of the e-business, much attention has been devoted to how to select a convenient and efficient technology to establish a perfect and security e-business system. As the latest distributed Compute framework, .NET released by Microsoft provide a suite of intelligent information platform, create a new generation information platform and software constructor upon the OS and Web based on Internet , and implement intelligent sharing of compute resource,data resource,Information resource and apply resource on network. Combined with the flexibility of various stronger programming languages and the class library unified, object-oriented, hierarchical and scalable, it can easily generate e-commerce systems infrastructure .And then the distributed e-commerce systems will be built based on the mature database technology. The means to establish safe and efficient e-commerce system based on .NET has become the first choice for developers.In this thesis, the design scheme and practical implemental methods of ETravel Electronic Commerce System applying B/S architecture based on .NET is described in detail.At first, an overview of e-commerce, which including the concept of e-commerce, trading pattern classification and related technologies etc., is presented. And the current popular development forms of e-commerce systems are compared. Then the related content of .NET framework is focused on. Its evolution, architecture, as well as CLR, APS.NET and ADO.NET and other aspects are researched. In the end , the design and realization of ETravel system is introduced, in which completed tasks as follows:1.Discuss the three key technologies used in the implementation, including peer-to-peer streaming media, AJAX and the security management of system.2.Based on the three-tier architecture, the design of system function module is completed. And the design of the system database is accomplished with E-R diagram.3.In accordance with the design project, based on the .NET framework combined with a variety of techniques, ETravel system is realized with Visual Studio 2005.
