With the rapid development of telecommunications industry in the world of economic globalization, China's further opening up the telecommunications market environment, the competitiveness between the telecom operators is becoming more intense ,the center of competition has changed from the simple competition of the price and the business to the general competition of service quality, service content, services and service-conscious. Making full use of existing networks, improving network service quality and improving customer satisfaction has become the basic of the telecommunications operator's survival in the fierce market competition. Building the long-distance switching network of Shandong Province Branch of China Tietong, achieving the centralized switching network monitoring and unified management in the whole province, is conducive to improving the utilization of the staff and equipment, improving the customers' satisfaction and better attracting customers, and effectively ensure the operation of switching network quality, reduce business operating costs.According to the need of Shandong Tietong's switching integrated network management system , combining the status of the switching network' development and characteristics as well as the switch type used in the switching network, the author of this thesis has made a research on the following problems.1. The transformation of existing Shandong Tietong switching DCN (Data Communication Network) and the access of a variety of city-based switches. Shandong Tietong Network Management Center built a relatively simple DCN network when it was established, for the staff to manage the network. This project is a transformation of existing switching DCN network for the access of a variety of city-based switches.2. The installation of network servers and server installation as well as the background database and debug procedure. The manage system uses the DCN network for the channel of the whole system to transmit data. The system collects and decomposes various reports of switches and storage of various reports to the database, through screening the data calculation, portfolio, etc, finally through the client-side procedures, available for the user with a friendly analysis interface.3. The installation of the front software and the implementation of various functions. The most important feature of the integrated Network Management System is the traffic statistics and performance analysis and deal with the alarm switch.The Integrated Switch Network Management System described in this thesis obtains good results in practice. It focuses on managing different vendors, different types of equipment, and with decomposing the information of the switches alarm and traffic form a unified format, which was presented to the staff. The staff can also set the system to form different reports on different needs of alerts & traffic information. This will not only improve the network's general maintenance level, the network quality and efficiency, lay a good solid backing for the services of the users, but also provide a strong support of data analysis for opening the market, and become the basic of Tietong Networks of the survival and development in the fierce market.
