Networked Control Systems are integration of controlling science, computing science and net working technology. The competitions of network resource and network delay bring traditional control theories and methods new meanings and research directions. Performance for the Networked Control Systems not only depends on the controller, also dependent on the information network scheduling methods and optimizes network information scheduling methods for improving the performance of the system is of great significance. The network type and media access control protocol in industrial network are analyzed in detail, and the basic problems of network control system are advanced. The research status of message scheduling in network control system are presented. Basing on the scheduling algorithm of networked control systems in application layer, the static and dynamic scheduling algorithms are analyzed. The RM scheduling algorithm, the DM scheduling algorithm ,the TD scheduling algorithm, the EDF scheduling algorithm and the LLF scheduling algorithm have been studied, analyzed and compared advantages and disadvantages of various scheduling algorithm and their application .The mixed scheduling algorithm is studied, which based on a shortened soft real-time cycle of non-mission response time and turnaround time scheduling algorithms. Describing of the scheduling algorithm is given. Finally, the innovative ideas and the remaining problems are pointed out.Research on scheduling problem to the full utilization of network resources and rational allocation of network resources; reduce network-induced delay, and other negative factors. Optimizing and scheduling for the Networked Control Systems are an emerging hot research topic in NCS, and an important academic value and application prospects.
