Design And Implementation Of Software System On Embeded Media Advertisement Terminal

As the fast development of the technology of embeded and the video coding, the application of STB is more and more varied. The embeded STBs provide the media advertisement servers of video, picture and rolling information in the public as hall of hospital or bank etc. Recently the media ad system is consisted of web servers, business serverses and teminals. Ad operation businesses can control and check all of teminals, and customize the task which is displayed in teminals by a web browser. The software of media ad terminal is primarily resposible for receiving the command of business servers, playing task, inserted task and etc. The design of the software system in media ad relates to the STB performance, so it is more important.At present, the software system in media ad teminal is becoming a research focus at home and abroad. After many years of development, there were some software systems of media ad teminal. But they also have some problems which are less flexibility, unease update and difficulty in later maintenance.After analyzed the development method and requirements of software system in media ad teminal, the whole software system will be designed.1. The C2/C1100 processor of MicroSystems company and hardware plateform is introduced.2. Design and implemente the net software and parsed XML(eXtensible Markup Language) software. In this part, it will be completed to connect and communicate to business servers, and parse the XML document which received from business servers, then get advertisement lists.3. Based on FishGUI framework system, it is implemented task, template, region and element in the advertisement lists as module. The schedule will primarily be reseached in tasks, templates regions and elements. 4. Aimed at the lack in the effects of diplayed rester fonts, the Freetype engine is proposed to convert the text to vector fonts which is rolling on the screen.By completed the above works, teminals can sucesse to receive the task from business servers, parse the task then schedule tasks or elements. The purpose of software in media ad terminals is basically achieved.This media ad terminal is in application of Jiang Su Telecom, and gained good feedback.
