Mine hoist is one of the most important equipments for production and safety in mine, which carries on heavy responsibilities of transmitting workers and materials, ensures production safety of mine and life safety under mine.At present, most of the diagnosis and safety alarm solutions for the mine hoist are concerned on processing the real time monitor signal and neglect the further analyze of the signal collected. Thus, the existed monitor system can well forecast the damage of the components or the critical faults which occur rarely. In this paper, the change of accumulated data collected by monitor system is used to prove the exhaustion of mine hoist system, and to help to arrange the maintenance of the system.In this paper, the data is collected from the mine hoist of Sitai mine of Tomei Group in Shanxi. The data is pre-processed by the method of deleting redundancy and removing the noise, and then the C4.5 arithmetic of classification is used to construct a decision tree. After pruning the tree, the final decision tree is drawn. The result is proved right in practice.
